Included in this update is a never version of Adobe Flash, making even more website content available to you.
If you previously used 500 Wii Points to download the Internet Channel to your Wii console, at the end of October we will be offering you the opportunity to download, for 0 Wii Points, one NES game of your choice (valued at 500 Wii Points) from the Virtual Console catalog.
Details of this download offer will be provided via the Wii Message Board or on soon.
The main updates are as follows: *Change from Adobe Flash version 7 to Adobe Flash Lite 3.1 (this corresponds to Adobe Flash version 8) *The Internet Channel is now available to download for 0 Wii Points.
Press "Start" at the bottom right of the screen and you will be able to download the updated Internet Channel from the Wii Shop Channel.
Until now the Internet Channel was available to download from the Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii Points.
The final version of the browser became available on April 11, 2007 and was free to download until the last day of June; after that the browser was available at 500 Wii Points until September 1, 2009 when it was available for free again.
The Internet Channel is a version of the Opera 9 web browser for use on the Wii by Opera Software and Nintendo.On December 22, 2006, a free "trial version" of the browser was released."Helper Meister 20" will unlock all Virtual Console games on every platform!
