Montgomery’s first Whole Foods Market has cleared one of the final hurdles before opening later this year.The city approved a liquor license for the 40,000-square-foot Chase Corner grocery store at Tuesday’s council meeting. The grocer didn’t say how many people it’s planning to hire, but developers initially said the store would mean 175 new jobs for the area. Since then, other stores have opened in east Montgomery's new Chase Corner development, including Buffalo Wild Wings, Outback Steakhouse and Jared the Galleria of Jewelry. The venue can seat up to 1,800 people and features balcony seating.
