One contestant will be eliminated each week until the yet-to-be-announced bachelor picks his "Prince Charming." This is not the first time a major cable network has aired a same-sex dating show, though it is the first one with an all gay group of suitors.Back in 2003, Bravo debuted "Boy Meets Boy," which featured a gay bachelor, gay suitors and - initially unbeknownst to the bachelor - several straight men pretending to be gay.a new dating show that premiered Tuesday night on Fox, is different than your current matchmaking fare in a few ways: the setting (Anguilla), the setup (it involves speed dating), and fact that its cast is more diverse than you'll find on, say, There are 12 women. The guys are the ones that fly in and can be sent home if the woman is not feeling them. All the other girls wait for the next guy to arrive and if the girl who's coupled up doesn't like him anymore after a week — or four weeks — she can send him home and wait for the next guy. They walk left if they don't like him and right if they do.Plus, we gave everyone a cell phone, so they can text each other and you get to see their text messages.I've watched a few but I felt that with other dating shows, they didn't represent America, you know?Every one of the girls, all 12 of them, get to meet the guy.
Logo will launch a new gay dating show, "Finding Prince Charming," this fall.Hosted by Lance Bass, the reality competition will be the first dating show to feature a cast of all gay men."Logo has a long history of showcasing LGBTQ-focused stories with memorable characters that transcend pop culture," said Pamela Post, SVP of original programming for the network."'Finding Prince Charming' will take viewers on a whirlwind journey through modern love and relationships in a way that only Logo can do." Thirteen "charming and gorgeous suitors" will live together and compete for the heart of "one of the nation's most eligible gay heartthrobs," according to Logo. From there, the guy decides out of the girls who like him which one he wants to pursue and then eventually they are coupled. So if six of the 12 girls like him, he'll choose from one of the six and then they'll be on the show as a relationship.
To put 21-year-olds on a dating show, they're going to fight and whatever, but these are grown-ups and they're looking for real relationships.
They have things going on in their lives, but the only thing they're missing is love.
